Parking Violations/Street Parking/Speeding
Posted on Jan 1st, 2017
We have had an increase in the amount of vehicles that are parking long-term on the streets (during the day and overnight) throughout our neighborhood.  Occasional/short term parking is acceptable during the day, but no overnight parking on the streets is permitted.  The streets need to remain clear for resident safety.  If you notice a vehicle that is not following neighborhood compliance, please forward information to  Failure to comply will result in notification and possible fines from the management company.  Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
If you have an issue for a car speeding down the street, call 704-432-2120 or e-mail with the complaint.  You can remain anonymous and you may be saving a person's life.

We have noticed an increase in solicitors lately. They are bothersome and a security concern. Once Planters Walk was annexed into the City of Charlotte, City laws allow solicitors in neighborhood, but they MUST have a solicitor permit. The Board recommends that you take the following steps:
1) Ask if they have a permit. If not, ask them to leave your property immediately and call 911.
2) If they do have a permit, ask them to leave your property.
If they do not, call the police immediately. The police will escort the solicitor out of the neighborhood.

Caring for City Trees
Posted on Sep 12th, 2013
The trees you see between the sidewalk and the street are the property of the City, but are under the care of the resident whose property they are on. Once planted, the city doesn’t water or feed them, they looking to the residents to take care of those essentials. Newly planted trees (typically have a green gator bag around them) require extra attention as they are growing and need regular watering. Please help keep our neighborhood looking beautiful and care for the tree in front of your house. For the home-owners in our new Lennar section of the neighborhood, you have a lot of these new trees, please help them grow. If you have an issue with your tree (dead, needs pruned, damaged, etc.), you should contact 311 who will get your request to the City Arborist.
