Several months ago, the City Arborist removed many trees from the neighborhood. These are the trees that were planted between the sidewalk and the street, in front of resident homes. Trees that were removed were either dead or dying and needed to be replaced. The City Arborist notified us that planting would occur in the late fall. In the last couple of days, we have observed the city grinding the stumps that were left, in preparation of the replanting that will soon occur. In short, we should expect to see the trees replaced within the next few months. Once the new trees are planted, please keep them watered until they are well established in their new environment.
