      <title>Charlotte Mecklenburg Utilities' Sanitary Sewer Rehab Project in Planters Estates</title>
      <link>http://www.planterswalkhoa.com/default.php</link>
      <description>
         The route of the rehabilitative work will start along the sewer main at the gravel end of Sam Neely Rd (between Orchard Grass Ct and Planters Estates Drive, and then cross Planters Estates Drive at the 11900 block, and follow the back lot lines between Sunrise View Drive and Seascape Lane. The work in general includes TV inspection and cleaning the sewer main, temporarily pumping the wastewater around the cleaned section of pipe, and then placing a lining inside the sewer main. Each access manhole will then be coated with a lining. The contractor&rsquo;s work will be limited to the 25 foot wide sanitary sewer easements, and the neighborhood streets. Briefly while the lining is being installed, residents adjacent to the work site may notice the lining&rsquo;s odor.

      <title>Walking Trail improvements</title>
      <link>http://www.planterswalkhoa.com/default.php</link>
      <description>
         Many of you have asked about the work recently done on the walking trail between the pool and Planters Row Drive. The Board received feedback from many residents concerning the path, and the need to conduct some clean-up and open up the wooded area on either side of the trail. We contracted a local company to do this work, specifically:

    Installation of a temporary silt fence along the creek side to maintain necessary ecological standards.
    Removal of all existing trash in the area
    Removal of all down trees in the area
    Cutting out all undergrowth up to a height of ten feet
    Removal of all appropriate saplings to increase line of sight

The work has been completed and we've heard from residents that they really like how it looks now.
